The Voice of the Oboe – “From Beer to Concert”

Born in Sant Joan d’Alacant in 2007, he began his musical studies at the Maestro Climent Elementary Music School at the age of 3. At the age of 8, he enrolled at the José Tomás Guitarist CPMA (Spanish Academy of Music), where he is currently completing his Professional Degree in both oboe and percussion.

He also has a passion for exploring different facets of music. He has experience as a drummer in the Ciudad de Asís Big Band, as well as in roles as a music producer and video game composer, in which he has participated in numerous projects. He is always open to embarking on new projects and continuing to explore the musical universe.

He is currently a student of Juan Bautista Osorio Verdú (oboe) and Begoña Colomina Bernabeu (percussion) and also receives classes from chamber music teacher Antonio Pérez-Abellán.

He has had the opportunity to teach with oboists such as Arie van der Beek, soloist with the Vlaanderen Opera Ballet, José Andrés Valero Molina, soloist with the Alicante Municipal Symphonic Band, and Daniel Rodríguez Agúndez, soloist with the ADDA Symphonic Band of Alicante.

He has been a member of the SM La Paz Music Band and the Alicante Province Youth Orchestra, but is currently the first oboist in the Villafranqueza SM La Amistad Band. He also frequently collaborates with the Vila de Sant Joan Symphony Orchestra.

He has had the privilege of participating in numerous concerts with ensembles at the MUBAG and ADDA. He has also performed as a soloist in renowned concert halls in Alicante, including the Auditorium of the Alicante Conservatories, the ADDA Chamber Hall, and most recently, the ADDA Symphony Hall.

One of our association’s pioneering pianists will offer a concert as a prelude to the entrance exams he will take at various US universities to continue his musical studies. His repertoire is complex and varied, encompassing works from the Baroque to Spanish nationalism. This recital, as always, will not leave us indifferent. Although we don’t expect it to be a farewell concert, it may be one of the last opportunities to enjoy his talent.
